I’m in Aspen to see the X Games. I came by plane. It's winter. I'm 35 years old. The trip will last 5 days. I came alone. I visited Aspen Higlands, Butermik and Dependence Pass today.
Visiting Aspen Highlands was impresive, so much snow it had in the mountains. The difficulties of skiing also impressed me. I thought it was easy, but it’s not.
The second place I went to was Butermik, with it’s open and gently undalating rails. It’s the place which hosts the X Games of Aspen. It falls 508 cm of snow per year, there. It’s open every day without exception from midnight to 4 pm. It’s a ski area of 190 hectars and 44 hectars for snowboarding. I came here to practice snowboarding. I did it and several tumbles later I got balance and went down the montains. What a nice thing! Then, I went to Dependence Pass.
When I arrived at Dependence Pass, I did some climbing and rappeling. I felt I almost fell, but as I was with the safety equipment, everything went right. Then, I went back to rest because tomorrow I will watch the X games. I hope you have enjoyed this travel diary .
