January 18th, 2025. I arrived in NYC today at 4:00 in the afternoon. I came here with the purpose of doing a course in agronomy. My course was paid by the scholarship from the college where I study in Brazil. It was a quiet trip, and a very chilly one at the same time. I'm going to stay here for two weeks. It's winter and I brought several coats. As I have just 18 years old, my father and my mother came, too. As soon as we arrived we went out to see some places in the city in order to feel more at home. First, we went to the Brooklyn Bridge. Then, we went to a restaurant called Fishers, and to an ice cream parlor to eat a dessert.
On our way to Brooklyn Bridge we took pictures and videos in the subway, since it was all new for us. We got there when it was almost dark and we had the privilege to see a beautiful sunset and again we shot many pictures.
The second place we went to was a restaurant called Fishers. We went there for dinner because we were starving. After a while, we ordered a dish called Uruguayan Rump Steak. I had never had a meat as good as that one. It gave me even a certain "heat" to eat that meat. I have never felt such a good taste in my mouth, and we had to order another one. Soon after eating it all, we left.
On the way to the apartment where we were staying, we passed by an ice cream parlor called EEgloo, for a dessert. There's nothing better than an ice cream. My mother and my father ordered cream with raisins, and I didn't have any, because I was too full from eating the Uruguayan Rump Steak.
Right now, I'm in the apartment we are staying. Tomorrow, I'll know where I'm going to do a degree in Agronomy. Now, it is 11 PM. I'm going to sleep because the trip and the day were tiring, but it was really nice. Tomorrow, I'll tell you about my day and how the course was. Bye!
Congradulations, Guilhereme! Look like this was a amazing trip!
