My first day of travel

I arrived yesterday at Indianápolis in Indiana, United States. It’s winter and I’ve waited a lot for it. Today, at the age 26, we are in the week of my birthday and I’m fulfilling this dream. All my previous efforts to save money since I was 16 were rewarded by this chance of travelling by myself and enjoying this vacation. Every penny save was worth it. Today I took the day to visit some places of the city like the Central Canal and the Monument Circle.

I walked along at Canal Circle and had a wonderful morning. I talked to a gentleman who rented the ride on the pedal boat and I walked along the canal and saw paintings made under the bridge. The place reminded me of Venice and gave one smell of passion in my day.

In the afternoon, I visited the Monument Circle. The monument is beautiful! You can come in and see the view from above, but when I tried to go in, it was closed. Their working days change according to the months of the year. As it was winter, it was only open on two or three days a week... Too bad! But the place has wagons, which go around the city and I did not resist and went for a ride.

I certainly had an amzing day! The people are polite and showed a warmth towards me that made me feel at home. I hope that in the coming days I still visit incredible places with several people like these. Now, I’m closeng my day having dinner at the hotel, which, by the way, as everything I’ve seen here, is perfect! So, see you next time. Good evening, readers. Kisses!
