Trip of my dreams - NY

 Vallane Cruz Souza - 9° A

I arrived in New York,United States. I came through a scholarship to take dance classes at the Broadway Dance Center in the Broadway area. I got the scholarship when I'm 18,it's winter,I'm here alone for one year,to take these classes. And today, during the first day while I was in my apartment I decided to visit three places: Central Park Statue of Liberty and Times Square.

The first place I visited was Central Park. As it was winter,the skating rinks were open so I could do something,I always wanted to try ice skating. I went to Wollman Rink,which is one for the most famous in NY and I was delighted with everything I lived and I skating for a while and then I left.

In the afternoon,I visited the famous Statue of Liberty. I saw her magnificence up close. Took pictures of it,and while waiting for the time to return to the boat,I walked around the island and bought some things,mostly related to Statue.

When the sun had set,I visited the last point of day: Times Square. It glowed at night,it was beautiful. I had dinner at the Olive Garden,an italian restaurant,overlooking the lighted street and it's big screens. At last I returned to my apartment with beautiful memories of what I saw today and looking forward to tomorrow.
