My Trip To Orlando

Miguel Fonseca Lima - 9 A

My name is Miguel. I'm fifteen and, together with a friend, I passed a test to come to Orlando to play basketbaal. We arrived yesterday and we went to a few specific places: the place where we are staying, Universal Studios and the Amway Center. Despite being in the winter it is not as I thought it would be.

In the morning when we arrived in Orlando, we came to the place where we live, to take a look and clean the rooms. It is a normal house that is in a gated community. It was rented by the Orlando Magic team itself, as well as some others in the neighborhood, so that players who come from other parts of the country or the world do not have to worry about housing

.

Then, we took a tour of the city and that's when we decided to go to Universal Studios. Arriving there we went on several of the park's attractions, such as The Simpsons Ride and Revenge of the Mummy. We took the walk in the park, to have lunch at one of the theme restaurants of the place and how much I like Harry Potter I went to a restaurant in Diagon Alley. After the meal we waited a bit and went back to have fun in the toys and the Universal Studios theme stores.

In the end of the day, we watched a game of the Orlando Magic at the Amway Center, the team's gym. As we are now we are part of the base category of the team we enter for free and we stay in the best places possible. Me and my friend met the rest of the team there, because everyone decided to go watch the game too. It was a very good game, but unfortunately Orlando lost well in the end.

Today is a new day, but I'm still very tired, because I could not sleep right thinking about the new life I'm going to have here in Orlando. Despite this I have to go to my first day of training with the team. See you later!
