My trip to New York

Marina Dixini - 8º ano A

I’m Marina. I am 13 years old and my family decided to travel on vacation. So we locked everything and came to New York. We are here: Me, my mother, my brother, my aunts, my uncles, my cousins and grandmas! We came on June 16th. We are going to stay for about 7 days. We are staying in Manhattan, at the Savannah Hotel. It is winter. Today is our first day here. We will visit three places. First, we will visit Central Park, then we we will go to Bloomindale’s and finally we will go to a jewlery store called Diamond District.

In Central Park, we strolled, went ice-skating and did a lot of cool things, it`s all so beautiful, I am amazed at the diversity of things here, I loved coming here!

Then we went to Bloomingdale's. It is beautiful, very big, and the clothes here are beautiful!  We bought lots of clothes here, but here was so many interesting options that we had a hard time to choose what we wanted to keep. I loved coming here.  

At the end of our day, we went to a jewelry store called Diamond District. Here it is even harder what we want to buy Bloomingdale`s. But we made up our minds and bought rings and necklaces.

Well, I loved my first day in New York, I had so much fun. At the end of our day we went to the hotel. We dined there and I loved the food! Each one of us went to their rooms to sleep, because the next day we will go for several walks. Hope it will be fun, too!
