My incredible trip to Yellowstone Park

Miguel Figueiredo dos Passos Elias  - 8ºB

Hello, my name is Miguel, I'm 13 years old. I was going to spend our vacation in the city of wyoming, to observe several things there in the park yellowstne that I have never been in the United States. When we arrived at the camp I saw a steam in the middle of the forest, I went following the path, when I got there I saw a puddle of boiling mud I called my parents they told me that the name of the mud puddle is mud volcano there simply holes down there on the floor can surprise you! The crayfish-colored crater is always filled with mud because of the high temperature the mud succulates .

The next day, my family and I went to see the famous colorful lagoon. The blue color in the center of the pool Morning Glory has to do with a population of bacteria that lives in the bottom of the lagoon and that, when developing, releases a blue substance in the water. The garbage thrown by the tourists in the lake caused other bacteria to appear, leaving the edges in orange and yellow. And water is so hot (about 50 ° C) that it even releases smok.

It's the place I liked the most was the waters and steamers called Yellowstone has about 200 geysers. The most famous is the Old Faithful, which spouts hot water and steam up to 60 meters high (equivalent to a 20-storey building). The eruptions happen, punctually, in intervals of 30 minutes. The largest and most powerful geyser in the world is also there: the Steamboat squirts jets of effervescent water at a height of 90 meters.

Already at the end of the day I am very tired, I had a very fun day have a great afternoon that God enlightens you.
